Davina Watson is a well known and much loved member of Perth fandom, who has spent years driving her (now adult) kids to Sci Fi clubs, committee meetings and more.
She’s been attending Swancon since 1998, and in 2008 was a member of the Swancon “Contact” Committee which holds the record for the most family generations on a single committee, along with her son Grant, and grandson Calum.
She loves Fantasy novels and Crime in any form and is a very crafty lady, loving Patchwork and Quilting, and also teaching this three days a week. Her contributions to our community have been recognised over the years with The Marg Hughes (Mumfan) Award, as well as a Tin Duck and a number of Art Show awards.
She’s always been a friendly face, willing to have a chat with anybody or help people find their way around, and we’re excited this year to recognize her many years of selfless dedication and contribution as our Fan Guest of Honour.
